Originating 2400 years ago in what's modern day Russia, water bongs have been used by different civilizations throughout history. While there's been a variety of designs and function, the concept of cooling and filtering smoke has been around since the dawn of time.

There are few questions one needs to answer when selecting the perfect glass bong..

- Flower, concentrates, or both? Every piece includes a bowl and comes ready to smoke herb upon arrival. If you're looking to dab and smoke flower, you can turn any bong into a Dab Kit, or we recommend checking out a recycler. 

- Size matters. Think of how you normally smoke, or better yet, where you normally smoke. Some people like to have a "car bong", while others bring their water pipe home and it never leaves the house. Our pieces come in beautiful gift box packaging which makes traveling a breeze. With that said, smoking the Bong Dual on your hike probably isn't ideal. 

- Lonely stoner or socialite?  Nothing grabs someone's attention like a glycerin bong. They're unique and proven to provide larger rips with severely less chest and throat burn. Bong: Freeze Pipe’s entry level bong and a step up from our Bubbler. You'll notice hits are colder and more filtered than traditional water pipes, and due to the beaker base it sits sturdy on any flat surface. Ergonomic is a word you'll see thrown around a lot, measuring 12" tall this piece just feels great in your hand. It's thick borosilicate glass adds a luxurious but not overpowering weight. Easy to take care of, we recommend this piece for solo or small group sessions. Makes for a great "starter" glycerin bong. 

Bong XL: Our most popular water bong, this piece doubles the size of the regular bong's glycerin coil and features an upgraded base and bowl. Standing 19" tall, the Bong XL is surprisingly easy to pass around while also making an excellent show piece. It'll be your go-to when smoking alone and a crowd favorite when friends are over. The base features a two perc system that provides smooth hits even if the glycerin coil isn't frozen. 

Bong Dual: Is your favorite movie Frozen? Does the thought of running sled dogs excite you? Is your uncle a Yeti? If you answered yes to any of the above, The Freeze Pipe Bong Dual is for you. The Dual features the same base as the XL but has TWO different glycerin coils for the coldest hits we have to offer. The bottom chamber portrays our classic "coil" style, while the top is a unique revolver that features six vertical tubes. The Dual is sure to be a hit at parties and is the largest piece Freeze Pipe makes at just under 21", while being a tad heavier than the XL.  We recommend using the included gift box packaging when on the go. Otherwise, this piece is perfectly suited for the solo connoisseur seeking unrivaled bong hits or showing off on the couch with a group of friends.

Percolators are the engine to water filtration. The goal of filtering smoke is to make as many bubbles as possible. More bubbles = more surface area for smoke and water molecules to interact with one another. 

Water pipes use dozens of different types of percolators, and this perc focused style of bongs is commonly referred to as perc bong or scientific glass.

Bongs being hard to clean is one of the biggest misnomers out there. DIY solutions such as mixing Coarse Seal Salt and rubbing alcohol do exist, but this can eventually damage your bong and prove costly. The easier, and longer term approach is to invest in a glass bong cleaning solution. Adding resin caps to secure the cleaning solution will also prove helpful and prevent headaches. Bongs and water pipes are the same thing.  For some reason the internet loves throwing the word "pipe" after everything, when in reality the only thing "pipe" should come after is the word freeze. Historically, bongs have been used to smoke flower and use a combination of water and percolators to filter and cool smoke. As concentrates became mainstream a specialized version of water bongs came to the market, know as dab rigs. Dab rigs are typically smaller than your average water pipe and use a quartz banger instead of a bowl for your herb.
